Abstract

The study aims to measure the extent of the application and adoption of vigilant leadership in public organizations. The problem of the theoretical study was derived from the existence of a knowledge gap due to the lack of studies and research that dealt with the study variable with its dimensions (peripheral vision, empowerment, networks between team members, focus, tendency to deal with cases of uncertainty) The study adopted the case study approach by using the questionnaire in the organization that was chosen by the Department of Labor and Vocational Training because of its importance in providing humanitarian services, as the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs was chosen as a large community for the study. Supervisory (administration manager, division manager, unit official), and the most prominent results were the presence of a gap in the application and adoption of vigilant leadership in the study community.
