Measuring and analyzing the relationship between knowledge economy and economic development - Turkey as a model
Abstract
Given the many changes that the world has witnessed during the past years, and among
these changes is the shift towards a knowledge economy, in which knowledge has become
the basis for generating wealth and increasing and accumulating it, through positive
interaction between knowledge economy and economic development, so the study aimed
to measure the relationship between an economy Knowledge and economic development
in the Turkish economy, using a set of related indicators. The study found that there is a
causal relationship between the knowledge economy and economic development in the
Turkish economy, and this largely explains Turkey's success in achieving its development
renaissance.
