الإفصاح عن الاستدامة... الدوافع والأسباب
Abstract
نتيجة التطورات التي حدثت في بيئة الأعمال المعاصرة, والحاجة إلى معلومات تساهم في دعم القرارات التي يتخذها أصحاب المصالح, ونتيجة لزيادة الاهتمامات نحو القضايا البيئية والاجتماعية واعتبارهما جزءا من التنمية الاقتصادية، اتجهت العديد من الوحدات الاقتصادية إلى اتخاذ خطوات جادة نحو التنمية المستدامة التي وضعت أركانها وما تنطوي عليه مفوضية الأمم المتحدة للبيئة والتنمية (لجنة برونتلاند) في 20 آذار من العام 1987، حيث أشارت إلى ضرورة اقتراح هذا المفهوم الذي يرتكز على التقدم الاقتصادي والعدالة الاجتماعية وحماية البيئة.
