تعد مشكلة الادمان على المخدرات من اخطر المشاكل الصحية والاجتماعية والنفسية التي تواجه العالم.
لذا سيتم في هذا البحث دراسة تأثير العوامل المؤثرة في الادمان باستعمال نموذج الانحدار اللوجستي حيث صنفت الحالات الى (مدمن، غير مدمن) حسب تفاوت مستوى حالة الادمان وعدد مرات مراجعته للمستشفى والتي تمثل متغير الاستجابة اما المتغيرات المستقلة تمثلت بالعوامل المؤثرة على الادمان.
تتكون العينة من (160) حالة ولكلا الجنسين ومختلف الاعمار بموجب استمارة استبيان تتكون من (20) سؤال حول اسباب الادمان، اثبتت النتائج اهم الاسباب المؤدية الى الادمان الاصابة بالامراض المدمنة والحكم بالسجن اوالتوقيف وكذلك بسبب التدخين والاركيلة حيث تم تطبيق البرنامج الاحصائي SPSS في ايجاد النتائج
