The Role of Entrepreneurial Capabilities in Achieving Distinguished Job Performance: A Survey Study in the Administrative Department of the Iraqi Ministry of Oil
Abstract
The present research seeks to identify the correlation and impact between the leading
capabilities and outstanding performance in the administrative department of the Iraqi
Ministry of Oil, which included a sample of the survey covering (28) managers distributed
at two administrative levels (department managers, and officials of the people) and the
questionnaire was used as a main tool to collect data and information For the purpose of
data analysis, a hypothetical blueprint was prepared and a number of main and subhypotheses
were drafted and the use of the SPSS25 program. The research attempted to
answer the main research question: What is the nature of the correlation and influence
between entrepreneurial abilities and outstanding job performance? The most important
conclusions were the existence of a correlation and impact between entrepreneurial
capabilities and outstanding job performance. Based on the findings of the research, a
set of recommendations were developed, the most important of which are:
• The greater the department's interest in leadership capabilities (opportunity,
relationship, strategy, organizational, commitment, conceptual) will contribute to
the improvement of outstanding job performance.
• Apply a loop of plans, do, check, perform when a performance gap appears.
