Abstract

The purpose of this research is to highlight the importance of Mahalnobis has statistic (D2) in the discrimination between two groups. To do that, the researcher formulated a rule of distinction derived from (D2) and distributed (F) called (RD2). Also (D2) has you used to construct a linear discriminant function (L.D.F) and evaluate its classification of random sample objects.
The researcher has of on advantage of similarity and the invariant Ratio of variance in the linear discriminant analysis (L.D.A) and linear regression analysis (L.R.A). As well as the relation between (D2) and each of (F) and (T2).
(D2) and (RD2) have been applied on random sample taken from patients in medical city.
