تقييم أثر تشكيل فرق العمل وقيادتها على أداء شركات المقاولات للمشروعات الإنشائية في الأردن

Abstract

          This study investigated  the importance and effect of the organizational factors that affect the performance of the constructive projects in Jordan through developing a model to examine the effect of the independent variables on the dependent one, which consisted of the leadership ability, and building work teams and the effect of these factors on the performance which is represented in the cost, time and the technical specifications. The data of the field study were collected through a stratified random sample that consisted of (115) projects that represent the population of the study, that is consisted of the public construction projects that were implemented by the Ministry of public works and housing, during the years (2003-2007) through the contracting companies. However, (105) questionnaires that were distributed to the manager o the projects of the implementing companies were returned. Using the SPSS was possible to analyze the effet of the independent variables on the dependent variables for the study . The study concluded with the following results:

  • There was a statistical significant effect for theability of the leadership in implementing the projects with their dimensions (support, participation, and empowerment) on the performance of the construction projects in terms of the project cost, time and the technical specifications
  • There was a statistical significant effect for building the work teams in implementing the projects with their dimensions (team variation, commitment, and communication) on the performance of the construction projects in terms of the project cost, time and the technical specifications .
