This study aimed to examine the implications of Level Five of leadership in enhancing the requirements of digital transformation in private hospitals in Erbil, within a context characterized by rapid technological changes and intensified competition. Such an environment necessitates that organizations adopt modern tools and technologies as a fundamental approach to achieving digital transformation.
The research problem stems from a central question regarding the ambiguous effect of Level 5 Leadership on the requirements of digital transformation, and the nature of these implications within the private hospitals, To achieve the study objectives, a descriptive-analytical methodology was employed, encompassing a population of medical staff from 30 private hospitals in Erbil, including physicians, nurses, and allied medical professions, The sample consisted of 202 individuals, based on valid questionnaires suitable for analysis.
Using a set of statistical tools through the (SPSS) software package, the results indicated comparable levels in the availability of the study variables, as well as a significant impact of Level 5 leadership in enhancing digital transformation requirements. It was found that the Level 5 leadership pattern contributes to the readiness of institutions to adopt digital transformation, Additionally, the findings highlighted that establishing key elements, such as employee empowerment and a clear strategic vision, serves as a supportive factor in the success of digital transformation initiatives.
The study recommends adopting leadership practices based on the characteristics of Level 5 leadership, with an emphasis on employee empowerment and the adoption of a strategic vision, Such practices contribute to creating an organizational environment conducive to digital transformation in the healthcare sector, particularly in private hospitals, alongside proposing several recommendations for future research.
