Abstract

This research aims to investigate the nature of the relationship between emotional
stability and rational decisions in the General Directorate of Education in Najaf.
The importance of the current research is determined in the scarcity of studies that
attempted to identify and know the nature of the relationship between variables
(emotional stability and rational decisions), as well as the current research attempt
to address a real problem Directly affect the decisions of educational leaders. Based
on the intentional sample, they are the educational leaders, which included Mr.
General Director and his assistants and directors of departments and a number of
educational supervisors and specialists. A valid questionnaire for statistical analysis
with a response rate (83%) was analyzed by AMOSS v20 and SPSS v20. The
theoretical results showed a knowledge gap to explain the nature of the relationship between research variables emotional stability and rational decisions in
organizations in general and in the community of educational leaders in the
Directorate of Education in Najaf in particular. The results also showed the interest
of educational leaders on the subject of emotional stability, which is the ability of the
person to maintain calm when facing stress in the organizational work environment,
and that the educational leader's sense of stability emotionally contributes mainly to
his ability to make rational decisions that represent a method to understand the
purposes and means Develop the basic steps of rational decision-making.
