The Effectiveness of MIS Effectiveness in Improving the Efficiency of Management Decision Making Process: Exploratory study in commercial banks in Iraq

Abstract

The study aims to detect the effects caused by the effectiveness of management
information systems by improving the efficiency of the administrative decision-making
process, through the adoption of research hypotheses contribute to the success of the
identification of these effects in a number of Iraqi commercial banks, where (8) banks
were selected, in which (59) The questionnaire as the main tool for collecting data from
the study sample representing managers and decision makers at different administrative
levels. The research adopted the descriptive approach in data collection and analysis. 24
Through the use of a number of statistical tools (arithmetic media, standard deviations,
percentages, simple correlation, simple regression), and after conducting the necessary
analyzes, the researcher reached a set of conclusions that support the relationship between
the two variables, and found the most important which indicates that the effectiveness of
systems Management information has a major role in improving the efficiency of administrative decision-making process in commercial banks researched, and thus
recommended the need to strengthen the culture of the use of management information
systems in Iraqi banks in general through the provision of scientific curricula, seminars
and educational courses for a role The MIS mechanism is to improve the efficiency of
management decision-making.
