Abstract

The current research aims to study the impact of one of the most important health crises that have passed over the world in recent decades, represented by the COVID-19 pandemic, on the value of one of the most important indicators of European and global stock markets, which is the German DAX30 index. A statistically significant effect of the number of daily infections in Germany with the COVID-19 pandemic on the value of the German DAX30 index. To prove the research hypothesis or not, statistical tools and methods were used, the most important of which is the (F) test with a significant level of (95%). The study reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which is that there is a statistically significant effect of the number of daily infections with the COVID-19 virus in Germany on the value of the German DAX30 index.
