Abstract

The study aims to identify the concept of climate-smart agriculture, its importance and goals, and to learn about the experiences of Arab countries in the field of climate-smart agriculture and the extent to which Iraq has benefited from these experiences, and then to present a series of recommendations and proposals that would contribute to the development and progress of the agricultural sector, especially climate-smart agriculture in Iraq, through the use of modern and advanced technologies and in order to achieve the goals and objectives of the study, a number of questions and hypotheses were formulated, and the most important conclusions were reached. The conclusions of the study concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: adopting climate-smart agriculture, adopting incentive policies for farmers that provide the necessary capacity and implementing conditions in Confronting climate change, how to adapt to climate change, and benefiting from the experiences of successful countries regarding the impact and confrontation of climate change and adopting policies in this direction.
